SAMARA LUBELSKI V1/V2 LP (Daksina)

Cosmic menace, metals that don’t exist in our periodic table, DNA-recombinating viruses, the most high-end psychedelic moments from Hisegawa’s Astro isolated into a swarm of. wraiths. Samara Lubelski’s latest is two sides of incredible tension, processed violin played with icepick, twisting in the ether. It grazes the skin then retreats, multiplying the fear when each movement retreats back to its sinister pitches. This sound has seen things beyond human comprehension and it’s gonna send ‘em running for their sanity. In other words, gorgeous effort yet again, nothing else around that’s quite like what she’s doing here.

More after the jump.
